OJ’s new Elite 95a is a true, high performance urethane offering a more forgiving durometer for rough terrain with easy, consistent power slides and bark you normally only get with a harder urethane. Super fast—consistent slides—all the performance of harder wheels in a more forgiving durometer for all terrain. Nomads feature a straight cut, mid-width shape with sharp edge for easy lock-in and wide riding surface for consistent slide.
Shape - Mini Combo (aka Conical) - A squarer lip profile lends well to grinding on coping with a stable lock in and lower resistance when on the grind. The concave face creates less side drag and both protects the graphic and reduces weight for faster longer grinds letting you lock in quick. The Mini Combo profile has a greater surface area giving it a high resistance to flatspots but gives you the versatility to skate everything from ledges to rails and especially bowls and vert ramps.
Wheel Size - The 53mm size offers fast acceleration and a lower rider for quicker pops and maintaining good momentum on small transition and ramps. The smaller size is great for techy street shredders and smaller sized humans.
Urethane Formula - 95a - offering a more forgiving durometer for rough terrain with easy, consistent power slides and bark you normally only get with a harder urethane.
The bearing core is center-set so you can reverse the wheel to save the graphic or to maintain a longer life by rotating your wheel placement over the life of the wheel. This is handy when you slide your wheel often particularly in urban terrain that can wear your wheels in an uneven way
