Become a ski instructor and spend a winter working in the mountains!

With the Northern Hemisphere winter in full swing we've embraced the buzz by starting an exciting new partnership with ski and snowboard instructor training provider, WE ARE SNO. We will be providing expert equipment advice for their customers, to ensure they're fully prepped for winters abroad.

WE ARE SNO specialise in full-season, ski and snowboard instructor courses. These courses are better known as instructor internships and include employment as an instructor once qualified. If a couple of weeks on the snow each year isn't enough for you, it might be time to consider instructor training, and embark on a new career as a snowsports instructor.


What is an instructor internship

An instructor internship (ski/snowboard internship), is a fast-track, career driven course, that will you see trained, qualified, and employed all within single winter season. Arriving into resort early you will first complete some intensive, on-snow training. Following the training package you will sit your instructors exam, once qualified will spend the remainder of the winter working as a snowsports instructor.


Where can I complete an internship?

WE ARE SNO run their internship courses in several resorts across Canada and Japan. The instructor qualifications you work towards are internationally recognised, allowing you to work in Australia and New Zealand during future winters without the need for additional training or certifications.


To be suitable to become a ski instructor

To be considered for the ski or snowboard instructor internship you will must meet the following criteria :

  • Have at least 3 weeks of ski or snowboard experience
  • Hold and Australian or NZ passport (or other country eligible for working visas)
  • Be 18 years old (20 years old for certain resorts)
  • Be hard working, professional and confident
