A part of Salomon’s expanded touring boot line up, the all new Salomon S/Lab MTN Summit touring boot offers premium touring performance for all our uphilling friends. Redesigned top to bottom from the previous S/Lab MTN, the new MTN Summit provides a user-friendly, high performance touring boot all in a lighter package. With a wicked 70 degree range of motion and just hitting 2100 grams for the pair, steep skin tracks become a no brainer. Salomon ditches buckles on the Summit (because buckles are so yesterday), opting for a Boa fastening system that is quick and easy to adjust on the fly. The Boa system links to the all new Touring Belt, which acts as an instep buckle that secures the heel in place. Not only does this give you better downhill performance similar to alpine boots, but also reduces friction while climbing uphill. The new sole is not compatible with hybrid style bindings like the Salomon Shift or Duke PT. Go further and faster with the S/Lab MTN Summit. These shells run on the short side. If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
