The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.

A special laminate used in Oakley's predominantly outdoor clothing. Applying the laminate to the fabric ensures moisture wicking to the outside, keeping your skin dry. It also provides water resistance of up to 10,000mm water column.
