The 2026 Jones Stratos is the hybrid all mountain board that excels in all aspects of snowboarding. Boasting a playful feel that's great for freestyle riding along with a directional shape, camber profile, and additional Float Pack that gives it the float and carving skills of a powder board, the Stratos is a quiver killer for an all terrain freerider that wants to do a bit of everything.   Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
  Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
• Flex - 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
  Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
  
• Ability Level - Intermediate-Advanced
  Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
  Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
• Shape - Tapered Directional with High 3D Contour Base
  A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
  A freeride-driven 3D Contour Base with a 7mm spoon bevel in the nose and up to 7mm in the tail, starting just before the contact points.
• Camber Type - Directional Camber/Rocker
  Jones' Directional Camber/Rocker profile incorporates camber throughout the body of the board with rocker in the nose. This keeps the board nice and responsive and powerful while enhancing float and manoeuvrability in deep snow, perfect for freeriding or in powder.
• Inserts - 2x4 Inserts
  This insert pattern offers a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.

  Jones' Premium Topsheet is a durable and scratch resistant topsheet, perfect for daily use.
• Laminate - Biax Fiberglass, BComp Carbon Flax Stringer with Bio Resin
  A dual-layer, multi-directional fiberglass laminate, Biax Fiberglass was created for a lively yet forgiving ride, offering a balanced blend of mid-soft torsional flex and responsive energy transfer.
  BCompCarbon Flax stringers deliver the ideal mix of power and control—carbon adds serious pop, while flax smooths out vibrations and keeps harmful emissions lower than full carbon designs.
  Bio Resin has unmatched bonding properties for increased performance and less weight.
• Core - Power Core
  The Power Core is a three species wood core made of Bamboo, Paulownia, and Poplar. The Bamboo stringers add extra durability, pop, and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia and Poplar keeps it lightweight, poppy, and stable.
• Sidewall - Recycled ABS Sidewalls
  Jones makes their sidewalls out of a recycled ABS material with a round finish. This increases durability by deflecting impact away from the sidewall preventing chipping and cracks.
• Edge - German steel
  These bombproof edges are made to be the strongest and longest lasting on the market.
• Base - Sintered 8000 Base, Flip-Flop Base
  A top-tier sintered base that’s incredibly fast, soaks up wax for lasting glide, easy to repair, and built for unmatched durability. Jones boards with Flip-Flop bases come in two colour options to reduce P-Tex waste. The offcuts from one base is used on another board to keep waste out of the landfill.
• Float Pack
  Jones adds an extra set of inserts for a setback stance to make the deepest of powder easier to ride in.
• Factory Tuned
  All Jones board come detuned in the tip and tail and ready to ride from the factory.
• WEND Natural Wax
  All Jones boards are factory waxed with a natural wax, ready to ride as soon as you hit the mountain.
• Forever Flex
  By overbuilding snowboards, Jones use a process in the factory to ‘break in’ the board to mimic 20 days ridden.
• Traction Tech
  Traction Tech enhances edge grip with strategically placed contact points, giving your board a firm, reliable hold on the snow, just like a serrated knife.
• 3D Base Contouring
  Inspired by surfboard design, 3D Contour Bases reduce tip drag for effortless turns, better glide, and enhanced float, so you can ride faster and with more flow.
